I'M SPEAKING

In a science classroom, especially one that may be a “tested area”, growing students who are at different levels may seem like an insurmountable task. How is mastery assessed and how can differentiation be implemented successfully? In this session, attendees will learn how to use Canvas and other tech tools to assess student mastery of concepts and use that data to design a personalized learning path for them. We will explore how to determine which tasks or labs are better suited as a whole group activity and which ones are better for remediation or enrichment. Steps to complete personalized learning paths will be explained in detail and attendees walked through the process in order to learn how to grow ANY student, no matter their level, and give each student the learning experience they deserve. FETC Workshops require an additional registration fee or premium registration. All workshops are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) for hands on participation.
