I'M SPEAKING
This session will take participants on a journey through time to bring social studies back to all classrooms through the integration of cross curricular planning. Participants will experience 4 different projects that demonstrate the power of learning through content planning, 4C's structures and engaging tech tools. Educators will be provided with examples of social studies projects being integrated in other curricular lessons. These dual content lessons will provide ideas for teachers to utilize social studies in other content areas and create FETC Workshops require an additional registration fee or premium registration. All workshops are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) for hands on participation. collaboration among different school departments.
Tracee Keough is an Instructional Design Coach with Forward Edge. Tracee has been in education for 15 years spanning multiple grade levels from second grade through 8th grade along with multiple years as an instructional coach. She has a passion to help teachers and students find their meaning and purpose while engaging in lessons, and community. Outside of the education world, Tracee is a wife and mother of 4 very active kids. Tracee's passion to build an educational world where all educators and students feel valued and heard in a safe space to express their driving purpose.
